# Artist's Statement
I have long held that true beauty cannot be found complete in any single model, and so I work from "a certain idea" that comes into my mind—an ideal formed in the imagination rather than copied from what the eye alone can supply. In this new work, I have sought once more to give visible form to that interior vision, arranging the composition so that every element serves the whole and nothing disturbs the serene harmony I prize above all.
The figures are locked into a stable, pyramidal design, their gestures and glances guiding the viewer's eye in quiet, legible movements across the surface. I have modeled the forms with soft transitions of light and shadow, so that they seem to emerge naturally from the surrounding space, and I have kept the palette restrained—allowing warm flesh tones and a few carefully chosen accents to sing against the cooler, receding ground. My aim, as ever, is unity: many parts resolved into one graceful, coherent whole, so that the viewer might experience not confusion but clarity, and feel the effortless beauty that I believe elevates the spirit and delights the senses.
