Imagined after Wassily Kandinsky
A man transitioning from a lawyer to an entrepreneur
After Wassily Kandinsky, made 2026-07-08. An AI-imagined work, credited after the artist and grounded in documented technique; not a historical work.
The statement
I have painted this transition not as a literal scene but as a spiritual drama unfolded in color and form. The subject compelled me because it embodies what I call "inner necessity"—that moment when the soul can no longer remain bound by external structures and must leap toward its own truth. Just as I once realized, upon seeing my own canvas unrecognizable on its side, that "objects were harming my pictures," so this man has discovered that the recognizable forms of his former profession no longer serve the deeper vibration within him.
The composition moves from constrained geometry—tight, dark masses suggesting the legal framework—toward liberated color fields that float and interact like notes in a spiritual symphony. "Colour is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand which plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul." Here I strike keys of liberated yellow and ascending red to convey the release and risk of entrepreneurial flight, while angular blacks trace the structures being left behind.
The viewer should feel this work as one feels music—not by recognizing shapes, but by allowing color and line to play directly upon the soul's strings.
