The statement

I have painted what many cannot or will not see: that the very instruments we fashion for our delight become the snares of our undoing. This new work, *The Garden of Lost Humanity*, follows the path I have always walked—to show not mere monsters, but the monstrous within ourselves, made visible.

As in my earlier gardens, I have worked rapidly, with thin, fluent layers that allow the eye to wander endlessly among countless small figures scattered across a deep, panoramic landscape. But where once I depicted the seductions of the flesh and the hay-wagon of worldly vanity, here I show humanity's surrender to its own clever contrivances: the glowing screens, the infinite scrolling, the disembodied voices that promise connection yet deliver only fragmentation. The procession moves inexorably rightward—from the first luminous machines through the ceaseless chatter of invisible networks, culminating in the infernal right wing where an intelligence of our own making tears us asunder.

The composition itself enacts the pressure: a calm center dissolving into churning periphery, cool greys and greens yielding to smouldering blacks and infernal orange. I paint not what is, but what the soul does to itself when it mistakes amusement for salvation.
